CBD or Cannabidiol is a non-psychoactive chemical extracted from hemp, and plants in the same genus. Our customers can always be confident we always use CBD derived from non-GMO, medical-grade organic hemp sourced directly from Switzerland.

According to MedlinePlus, CBD “makes up about 40%” of the extracts from this plant genus, and it has “many different uses.” MedlinePlus is a service of the US government that provides health information to the public from the National Library of Medicine.

MedlinePlus continues to list 10 specific conditions that can CBD can be used for, however, they do qualify their list because of current “insufficient evidence.”

That should change, and very soon, thanks to the FDA’s request for medical CBD patients to submit their personal experiences with CBD.

CBD Isolate vs. CBD Oil

Based on our recent 2017 survey, nearly all of the 50 state legal CBD products available for sale online were manufactured using CBD oil.

However, TheraJoy is made using CBD isolates. It’s important to draw the distinction because current technology limits the purity of CBD oil to around 60%. In comparison, CBD isolates are a much purer form; CBD isolates, such as the CBD isolate found in TheraJoy can test in excess of 99% pure.

When selecting your CBD product, it’s important that you always remember to consider the purity, as well as the dosage.
